Photography is something I literally stumbled into and it has become the perfect form of expression for my creativity. Honestly, I never knew what I wanted to do or what I wanted to be. I grew up in basketball gyms and in the front yard playing barefoot tackle football with my brother, and in airplanes seeing the world one country at a time.
I have been to 21 countries in my 27 years on this earth and I crave to see more. I love watching movies and have been known to get hooked on a tv series or two (Grey’s Anatomy junkies of the world, I get you!)
I am a completely self-taught photographer. I have never taken a class and I definitely didn’t go to college for this. I graduated from the University of Oklahoma with a degree in Human Relations – and I have to admit that it has come in handy as that is what I do now: relate to humans Every Single Day. But the art of photography is something I have studied on my own. I have been to a handful of super educational workshops where I have learned from some of the best photographers in the game. I was even able to travel to Iceland for one of them—so epic in so many ways.
