The Oklahoma City Myriad gardens are a hidden gem that offers a picturesque setting for any event, but especially for a wedding ceremony. The beauty of this location is unparalleled, with lush greenery, vibrant flowers, and enchanting pathways that create a truly magical ambiance. Everybody loves a vintage garden party wedding.

Recently, I had the pleasure of photographing a wedding at the Myriad gardens that perfectly encapsulated the unique and eclectic style of the bride. Makayla had a vision for her special day – a garden party ceremony filled with whimsy and charm. The bride adorned her bridesmaids in mismatched floral dresses, creating a playful and colorful vibe. Personal umbrellas were provided for each guest, adding a vintage element of personalization and practicality to the event. The bride truly wanted her guests to feel comfortable and cared for throughout their garden party.

After the heartfelt ceremony, it was time to let loose and celebrate! And let me tell you, this reception was like no other. From the moment guests arrived, they were transported into a world of fun and excitement. A moon bounce provided endless entertainment for guests of all ages, creating moments filled with laughter and childlike joy. The bride’s attention to detail was evident even in the smallest of elements. One of my favorite details were Makayla’s gloves with the words “til death do us part.”

As I looked around, I couldn’t help but notice shirtless men scattered throughout the crowd. It was a testament to the carefree and energetic atmosphere that the bride had envisioned. Heels were kicked off, allowing guests to truly let loose and dance the night away. Tears were shed, not only from the overwhelming love and emotion that permeated the air, but also from the heartfelt speeches that were given. This wedding was a true celebration of love, friendship, and joy.

To cap off the evening, streamers were thrown, filling the air with vibrant colors and a sense of liberation. It was as if the very essence of happiness was raining down upon everyone in attendance. The energy and excitement were palpable, creating memories that would be cherished for a lifetime.

I am honored to have been a part of this extraordinary wedding day and to have captured the essence of the celebration through my lens.
