Putting sheer panty hose over your lens creates a filmy, old school effect. And I absolutely love it.

This wedding day had some fun elements. It had balloons cascading down from the stage, her heels were a sparkly vision, and the day just felt classic but with a flare of old school. So I pulled out my favorite trick in the book — covered my lens, threw on my flash, and captured some elements to make them feel like the day.

The panty hose trick is great to know about, great to get good at, and great to use when needed.

But beware … This trick is so good you may want to use it all the time… so be sure you are still getting those great “normal” photos throughout your day too and only use this as an added bonus for you couple 🙂
