Mikaela + Matt | Winter Engagement

Matt and Mikaela met me at a random field on the side of the road in Norman, Oklahoma, one late afternoon in December…. The outcome was better than I could have dreamed. As we all know, winter light hits different. It is way earlier in the day, typically not as pure, and usually gets obscured with clouds as it starts to set. But this day was different. The light was warm, pure, soft, and golden.

I talk a lot about light, but thats because I believe it can make or break images. This day with this light… I think it made these shots come to life.
