Trendy Senior Style Guide

Trendy.

Trendy.

Trendy.

That is literally what all of my seniors are lately… and I am LOVING it.

Outfits may not be the BIGGEST part of your senior portrait session, but they are a huge part of the entire process. You want your outfits to reflect your personality, while also being flattering, cute, trendy, and timeless. A hard task to nail sometimes. However, it is totally doable.

Alex chose outfits that complimented her personality, while also being bold with her color choices and accents. She had layering pieces and accessories we played with to create different looks without having to change outfits completely. Layering is great for photoshoots because it creates depth and texture within your images without completely drawing the attention off of the main subject. Color also plays a huge role in how your images turn out. A lot of people may not know this, but sometimes hues of purples, oranges, reds, and yellows can clash with skin tones. So, I ALWAYS recommend neutral colors to be the base of EVERY PHOTOSHOOT and then have them add pops of color here and there! My neural color palette includes whites, tans, blacks, and DENIM! Denim is probably my favorite texture/color combo ever. It is timeless, always photographs well, goes with every skin tone, and can compliment any vibe you want!
