Joe + Kadey said, “I do” at Gaillardia Country Club in Oklahoma City this past summer in a ceremony as authentic as the bride herself. Kadey’s vision became reality through the artistic creativity of a host of local vendors whose expertise made the Lucas Wedding an elaborate, one-of-a-kind event that I feel honored to have shot.

When I say it was unique, I mean it was unique. For starters, Kadey had 2 dresses, YES. Two drop dead, gorgeous dresses that both had completely different vibes. Both were classical romantic gowns, yet each brought out Kadey’s distinct personality in different ways. . I loved capturing the essence of Kadey in both.

Additionally, the Lucas Wedding had an illustrator, whose work is amazing! (see the link below). Amy Lee’s gift provided not only the bride and groom, but also the many guests in attendance, with a unique memory of this important day.

And finally: THE FLOWER WALL. We all wonder how they do it–those supremely patient florists–but we never wonder why. The flower wall was THE reception focal point and the best backdrop I have ever shot against. Flowers were provided by The Medieval Garden (link below) and the creation was a showstopper.
